Xubitar, a Shopify-focused company, is hiring a Shopify App Developer Intern to learn app development on real projects — building custom public and private Shopify apps, not configuring third-party ones. Fully remote, beginner friendly, with mentorship and code review from working Shopify developers. Offers a 7k–10k monthly stipend, two days off per week, and a genuine path to a full-time offer.

Responsibilities

▹ Work on real client apps alongside our developers ▹ Build and maintain features across custom Shopify apps, public and private ▹ Work with Shopify's Admin API, GraphQL, App Bridge, Polaris, and webhooks ▹ Write backend logic and handle integrations ▹ Debug, test, and fix issues on live projects ▹ Get your code reviewed on every PR and improve with the feedback ▹ Take on more ownership as you get comfortable with the codebase and the ecosystem ▹ Join planning and technical discussions with the team

Requirements

✓ Solid JavaScript fundamentals — you can build things without a tutorial open ✓ Knowledge of React.js, Node.js ✓ Understanding of APIs and how backends work ✓ Curiosity about e-commerce and the Shopify ecosystem ✓ Willingness to ask questions and take feedback ✓ Quick learner & willing to participate as a full time engineer ✓ No prior Shopify job experience required — personal projects count
